Marshall sets catch record

Not only is Terrell Owens no longer the most charismatic wideout in the league (that honor goes to Ochocinco), he is no longer the record-holder for the most catches in a single game. On Sunday, Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall caught 21 passes against the Indianapolis Colts, besting the record by one that Owens set in 2000.

If there's one thing you can say about the best wide receivers in the league, it's that they're all egomaniacs who wind up being hard to work with. Randy Moss is being accused of quitting on his team, Terrell Owens had to be shoved out of Dallas, Chad Ochocinco has given the Bengals more than a few headaches, Braylon Edwards whined his way out of Cleveland, Plaxico Burress shot himself in the foot (literally), and Brandon Marshall went weeks and weeks begging for a trade and even quit on the team at practice one time. I supposed Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald are the exceptions, but that might only be the case because they're playing on semi-irrelevent teams. Who knows how they'd behave if they were playing in Pittsburgh or Dallas?
