Bye bye Metrodome

Sunday's defeat not only knocked out the Minnesota Twins, it was the final game the Twins will play at Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. Ah well. At least they got a pair of championships there. My lasting memory with HHH will be how radically it changed when it got to the postseason. In the regular season, there wasn't a more cavernous, empty-looking stadium in baseball. But when it came to playoff time, it filled up in a LOUD way.

True, but at least Pro Player Stadium was outside. That made it seem more open to me. But I hear you. No one draws worse than the Marlins.

Last game

I’ll believe it’s the last game there when it stops snowing in April in Minneapolis and/or the building is torn down.
