Stevenson's crazy Lincoln tattoo

A few days ago, sports and history collided when Washington Wizards forward DeShawn Stevenson came to media day with a few new tattoos -- a few what-exactly-were-you-drinking-when-you-thought-that-was-a-good-idea tattoos. Check out these pics, courtesy of Truth About It.net...

There are two instantly noticeable additions to Mr. Stevenson's ink collection: a tattoo of Abraham Lincoln on his neck -- complete with No. 5's as though it was a five-dollar bill -- and a backwards Pittsburgh Pirates P on his face. Why the P? The Pirates were his favorite team growing up and the backwards P kind of looks like a 9, his jersey number. Why the Lincoln? I couldn't find an answer to that. He must either be a fan of the 16th president or the actual dollar bill, or both.

And, because that wasn't enough, Stevenson has an even weirder tattoo:

The final new tat is a crack on the left side of Stevenson's forehead. He said it's because "I don't crack. I feel like people always try to break me, but I don't crack. So, I put that there."

That's right. If you look at the right side of the top photo, you can just see the end of a crack which runs to the bottom of his hairline. Stevenson's logic was a bit bizarre. He doesn't want to be associated with cracking, so he imprints the indelible image of a crack on his head... Brilliant. I only hope Michael Vick doesn't apply the same concept to his new feelings about dogfighting.
